We’re Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion Bound!
Our wristbands for the festival arrived today in the mail and we’re feeling pretty happy anticipated the upcoming weekend. Three full days of roots music, featuring iconic headliners and upcoming artists.
We have a crew of about 20 who will be there – meeting up with some old friends and making some new. Looking forward to the camaraderie and unity of like-minded music fans!
Some call it a Bad Decision Sunday when you head out for an afternoon of music and libation on a Sunday before a “work Monday,” we call it the best bad decision we could make!
This was at historic Pat’s in the Flats in Cleveland, Ohio. Pat’s is a big old-school bar that sits right on the Cuyahoga River. In fact, I’m not so sure that the women’s restroom doesn’t lever out over the river!
The venue definitely has the scars of time, but who that has lived long and had a good time doesn’t? Handbills and posters of all the bands that have loaded in and out of Pat’s to play on that stage decorate the walls – and there are many.
This particular Sunday, we saw The Greaves, a local gut-bucket country band.

A friend captured this moment as the sun was setting and this modern-day troubadour was sharing his songs across the hills. Talk about a peaceful, easy feeling.
